Printers Square, a nationally recognized and award-winning print and design company, recently installed a Hewlett Packard (HP) Indigo 5500 press, becoming the only print marketing and communication company in Greater Manchester to offer enhanced digital services.

The HP Indigo 5500 produces fast turn-around of high quality, short-run (small quantities) color work and variable data printing (VDP). The HP Indigo 5500 is capable of VDP, which is a form of printing in which elements such as text, graphics and images, obtained from an external database or list, can be weaved into a piece, allowing every piece to be personalized yielding better response rates. VDP, also known as one to one or 1:1 Marketing, is revolutionizing the marketing and printing world allowing for specific, targeted, personalized pieces. Response rates for 1:1 pieces have seen up to 8% - that’s an increase from standard direct mail with a less than 1-2% response. Adding PURLs (Personalized URLs) to a campaign will yield 20-30% responses.
