Sean Owen, President of Manchester, NH based Printers Square announced the launch of the new corporate web site today. "This web site is phase II of our site with major additions to the site functionality. Clients are directly tied to our internal project management system and have real-time status of projects. Client’s will have access to historic and active project specifications and costs and be able to query the data on several criteria. The greatest site additions are linking of active and completed projects to actual PDF documents stored in a new repository, sophisticated file control system for uploading files, downloading proofs, even approving proofs online."
The web site is already underdevelopment for phase III. This phase will on automate and publicize online a project’s progress through Printers Square workflow and allow clients and staff comments to be entered at the site and sent to appropriate parties. This information will be used by all departments of Printers Square, prepress, pressmen and finishers, to insure quality and thoroughness in production. Phase III is also being developed in conjunction with anticipated releases from Heidelberg of an online PrintReady client interface. This will give the client extensive tools for expediting projects and ensuring digital integrity avoiding costly delays.
