Printers Square Installs Computer to Plate Technology

Heidelberg USA has completed the installation of Prinect PrintReady at Manchester, NH based Printers Square. The product has been available in Europe for over a year, and Printers Square represents one of ten concurrent installations to be completed as the first in the US sites. President of Printers Square, Sean Owen comments, "We are excited about this workflow and the digital capabilities. PrintReady is, without a doubt, the flagship in the industry for postscript and PDF workflows. The extensive automation, digital plate reproduction quality and incredible PrintOpen color calibration have positioned Printers Square a notch above any competition. We recently launched a new web site with more features and functionality than I have seen in any commercial print site. During the next year we will be working with the PrintReady system to integrate our workflow online through our web site and thus giving clients access to the power of our systems remotely."



The new equipment installed with the system includes a computer to plate thermal platesetter, an HP 5500 Inkjet Printer for digital proofing and PrintOpen, Heidelberg’s press-sheet to proof calibration system.
